Helvetia Rooms in Warsaw

When are you planning to stay?

About us

We invite you to visit Warsaw and stay overnight in the longest operating Hostel in Warsaw - Hostel Helvetia.

From the pages of history:

Hostel Helvetia was established in 2015 in a part of a building that, when erected 100 years ago, was to join the group of "Helvetia" Hotels and Sanatoriums and was to be a hotel.

The building represented Warsaw's pre-war modernism architecture.

Before 1939, the building, thanks to its 11-storey tower, was one of

the tallest buildings in Warsaw, jokingly called "cloud skyscrapers". It was built in the years 1923-1928.

This May marks the 19th year of Helvetia's operation - the first facility of the Helvetia brand was Hostel Helvetia. It enjoyed great interest, which is why Helvetia Plus was created in the building next door.

Due to the huge interest of our guests, this year 2024, another few dozen completely new rooms with bathrooms of hotel standard will be available to guests.

Helvetia's offer includes apartments, studios, rooms with bathrooms and private rooms with shared bathrooms and is constantly developing and expanding, offering better and better standards.

There is a friendly atmosphere in Helvetia, receptionists are available 24 hours a day to help our guests so that they can feel comfortable in the capital of Poland.

We invite Helvetia guests to the guest room for coffee or tea after their journey. We also provide our guests with a well-equipped kitchen with a dining room, where we serve A'LA HELVETIA breakfasts.

We also provide the possibility of using free luggage storage.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the facility.

At the reception there are tourist guides in the form of a map with attractions in the area - all MUST BE, which can make it easier for you to visit or move around Warsaw.

*We recommend staying at least 3 days to visit the most important places on the map of Warsaw - and most of them are located in the vicinity of Helvetia facilities.

The Helvetia Hostel is located near the Center, in the Old Town area, about 10 minutes from the Central Railway Station and the Palace of Culture and Science in the vicinity of the Old Town, the Royal Castle, next to the University of Warsaw and the historic Arnold Szyfman Polish Theater practically at the intersection of the two most important promenades, Nowy Świat and Krakowskie Przedmieście streets (around the corner of Helvetia there is the Nicolaus Copernicus Monument at the main promenade). The entrance from the quiet Sewerynów street provides comfortable rest at a good price in the very center of Warsaw.

Communication:

The nearest public transport stop is Metro Nowy Świat-Uniwersytet, and bus stops: Ordynacka or Uniwersytet.

Parking is possible in front of the entrance to the Hostel on Sewerynów and Bartoszewicza streets, where there are parking meters.
